About Rose

Hey, I'm Rose, and without me, this website wouldn't exist!

I am twenty-two, blonde (very blonde), and I live on the western coast of Canada. I'm nice, reasonably outgoing, and although I like to think I can be pretty clever, I'm also the kind of person who stumbles over my words a lot and makes the occasional comment that leaves everyone feeling awkward. This is my biggest and most horrifying flaw that I'm constantly scrambling to get rid of... but keeps cropping up at the worst possible times.

Oh, and also: I am clumsy.

My life so far has been pleasant and mundane. I was raised by my mom and my stepdad, along with a lot of small siblings and some very bizarre pets. I moved out at nineteen, enjoyed that for a few years, and moved back in at twenty-two in order to go to school. I am currently AT school, studying all sorts of super fascinating things that involve computers. And when I say super fascinating, that is my code word for BORING AS HELL. And also dorky.

If I had to pick one true love, I think it would probably be writing, but I also love playing around on the computer (you'd hope so, with the career I'm aiming at!), relaxing on the beach, going out with friends, reading, and working out at the gym.

It's an ongoing effort of mine to avoid becoming a supergeek, something that's pretty easy to fall into when you're working with computers all day long. Some people probably say that since I'm a blogger, it's already too late for me, but fuck them. The only thing that blogging says about me is that I'm an egotistical brat, which is arguably worse than being a geek, but whatever.

For those of you wondering about my personal life, I am currently in a 2+ year relationship with a boy whom I'm usually fond of. I have a couple of close friends and a few sort-of friends.

I really like hot drinks and anything dairy. And designer clothing/bags/shoes, even though I so can't afford any of them.

To wrap things up: If you're expecting me to write something exciting on my blog, don't hold your breath. I spend most of my time agonizing over the never-ending stack of dishes and wondering what the best way to deal with mold is. Sometimes I talk about a movie I watch. Basically, I'm disgustingly average, terribly boring, and awfully surprised that there's someone reading this other than me.
